The Sleepwalkers - J. Gabriel Gates When I requested this book from NetGalley, I was ready to read something outside of my comfort zone. However, this book fell short and I had to abandon it after about 25%. I just could not get into the writing style with the short, staccato sentences and stream of consciousness type writing. Unfortunately, I was so wrapped up in my hatred of the writing style that I couldn't even focus on the plot. The only thing I remember is wondering who gave an 18 year old the chance to go to Africa for 6 months and write an article on the AIDS epidemic? After that, nothing memorable about this book stands out.
